Introduction to the process of welding titanium tubes!
Welding titanium tube process (cold forming + welding)
Suitable for general industrial scenarios involving large diameters, thin walls, and cost sensitivity, with flexible dimensions.
Strip preparation: Titanium strip is slit to a specified width, and the surface is degreased and derusted.
Roll forming: Multi-roller continuous curling into a round tube, ensuring uniform butt joint gap.
Inert gas shielded welding: TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, argon arc welding, or plasma arc welding are preferred. The weld seam area should be filled with argon throughout the entire process to prevent oxidation.
Post-weld treatment: weld seam leveling (removal of internal/external burrs), stress relief annealing (650–750℃).
Reducing and sizing: Cold rolling/cold drawing to the target size, ensuring uniform roundness and wall thickness.
